Definition and types of religious tourism
Tourists traveling for religious purposes, is the person to leave the country of residence for a period of not more than six months to visit the holy places and religious centers. Under the religious tourism should understand the activities related to the provision of services and the needs of tourists traveling to the holy places and religious centers are outside their usual environment.
Religious tourism is divided into two main types:
- Pilgrim tourism;
- Religious tourism excursions and cognitive orientation.
In pilgrim tourism stands spiritual pilgrim tourism.
