In addition to identifying the training objectives, other goals of the design phase include the following:
Creation of knowledge assessment questions and skill checks, or job performance measures (JPMs), as appropriate for each training objective.
Selection of appropriate training settings for the training based on the characteristics of your training environment and audience. Training settings may include classroom, laboratory (instructor-led training), self-study, simulator, web-based training (WBT), and on-the-job training(OJT).
Development of a content outline including anticipated training duration.
