P2.10 Hydrostatic tests of valves and fittings

Valves and fittings non-integral with the piping system, intended for Classes I and II, are to be
tested in accordance with recognized standards, but to not less than 1,5 times the design
pressure.
Valves and cocks intended to be fitted on the ship side below the load waterline are to be
tested by hydraulic pressure not less than 5 bar.
