polished ricegrain,bothCdbioavailabilityinagriculturalsoilsand
rice grainshouldbetakenintoconsideration.Theselectionof
proper soiltypesforfoodcropproductioncanhelpustoavoidthe
toxicityofCdinourdailydiet.SoilpH,cationexchangecapacity
and organicmattermightbethemainfactorswhichinfluence the
Cd bioavailabilityindifferentsoils.Melich-3-extractableCdand
soil pHaretheleadingfactorswhichgoverntheCdphytoavail-
ability toricegrainasdemonstratedbythestepwiseregression
analysis.
