What are the strengths of your mid-term paper:
• You have selected a nice conceptual model (Magnet Hospital) to help framing the objectives of your study. The model does touch on “organizational variables” related to nurse satisfaction--the main objectives of your study.
• The questionnaire is well laid out, not too long, with a focus on “nursing perspective toward their nursing role”. I assume each question was derived from those “organizational variables” as mentioned in your study objectives.
What could have been improved in writing your course paper:
• I think the way you have written 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3 are not yet well-linked logically. They seem to be presenting separate issues. At last you must point out “why” Magnet Hospital would be relevant to both the nurse shortage problem in Thailand and/or the current nursing management issues at Vejthani (and you also should point out whatever they are).
• You would need to describe, perhaps in the literature review and the situation at at Vejthani, why you think “the most important factors to create magnet hospital in Vejthani are leadership, career path, staff welfare, and compensation” and why “The gaps in Vejthani hospital lies within compensation, autonomy, and knowledge and skill development”. This is a very important background that leads to your study objective/research questions but is still missing from your paper.
