Dear colleagues in Phuket,
Of course insurance agreements are confidential documents but as we all work for the same company I am happy to share our information with you, also as I know that you from your end will also keep our information in a confidential way.
Please find attached the contract as we have sent it, with Dr. Pichit’s signature, to Thorkild for his counter-signature.
We have sent this end of June but he never signed it / sent it back. Most likely as, if he signs, he will not be able to request more discount again at the end of this year and of course he will want more again despite:
- Revenue SOS going down for the 2nd year in a row
- Us complying with batch billing, online notification, UR review
- His broken promise that if we would do all the above and give him the discount as we gave last time, he would not increase the cost containment
BMC (incl. BHN, BSH, BUD, RAH, RRH) still has the same contract as from 2014, valid until 2017.
From the comments on his draft I sent you last time, I highlighter in yellow here below which we could push through until the final draft. Others we didn’t push as we felt they were less important and to be able to “give and take” a bit. The only clause we don’t like at all but we couldn’t get out is the automatic inclusion from all Astrum members so should he ever make another large company member of Astrum we will have to find a solution for that again. (Cega so far we still bill directly to Cega and not via Arrival’s company not the SOS discount yet, however their volume is not so high).
