Cognizant - a new, strategic, global IT partner
In support of OCS’s business strategy, we have entered into a long-term agreement with Cognizant, a global provider of IT services. The initial phase of this agreement will see Cognizant providing IT Service Desk and operations to offices and staff in Regions 1 and 3. This step is being taken to ensure IT services can scale to meet our ongoing IT requirements at a pace that meets our business needs.
Once the transition to Cognizant is complete, one of the immediate benefits is that you will be able to contact the new IT Service Desk 24 hours a day, 7 days a week after Go-Live on 7 July.
What is changing?
The initial phase will see the IT Service Desk transition to a Cognizant IT Service Desk based in Manila, Philippines, with local desk side support provided by Cognizant in the UK and Thailand. In order to make the transition as simple as possible for OCS / PCS staff, the existing IT contact details will remain unchanged.

Further service access options will be announced shortly relating to the new ServiceNow website and self-service portal.
When is this happening?
The transition to the Cognizant IT Service Desk, will take place in two phases:
Tuesday, 1 July Pilot phase: Cognizant will start taking calls, supported by the new Cognizant team members alongside the current helpdesk team
Monday, 7 July Full go-live of the Cognizant service will commence from this date upon successful completion of the pilot
What impact will this have on me?
It is anticipated that these changes will be seamless. If you encounter any issues or if you have any questions about these changes and how they might impact you, an escalation channel has been setup - email support@pcs.co.th or sysadmin@pcs.co.th
