Around half of the experts disagreed that a busy lifestyle is a barrier to waste avoidance and that local government should be involved in cradle-to-cradle production policy. There is no indication from the survey findings whether this is a role for state government or if it should take such cradle-to-cradle initiatives. But a few experts agreed that local government should take cradle-to-cradle initiatives. Individual willingness and cradle-to-cradle design are considered key waste avoidance methods by the experts surveyed.
