METHODOLOGY
A survey method through face-to-face
interviews using a semi-structured questionnaire
was used to collect data from 40 vegetable growers
in Ban Sawang and Ban Sam Oang villages, Hoi
Toei sub-district, Sam Sung district, Khon Kaen
province, Thailand. The respondents were selected
using a random sampling method. Farmer
knowledge toward organic farming was investigated
through simple-dichotomy statements (true/false).
Attitude was measured using Likert’s rating scale
(Likert, 1932) statements (undecided, strongly
disagree, disagree, agree, and strongly agree), while
the practices was measured through frequencydetermination
statements (never, once, and more
than once). The questionnaire was pretested to
validate the questions. General percentage (%) was
