The present study aimed to explore the correlate sof health behaviors in patients with CADs. Age,education, diagnosis, smoking status, and experience of receiving patient education were all factors shown to influence health behaviors. Contrary to previous studies, it was demonstrated that cardiac knowledge had no influence on health behaviors; the exper-ence of receiving patient education had a significantimpact on health behaviors in the present study.Additionally, in line with previous studies, cardiacself-efficacy was the most significant factor that af-fected on heath behaviors. Throughout the current study, the significant influencing factors found in-cluded demographic and disease specific character-istics, and cardiac self-efficacy. Based on the findings of the study, nursing interventions tailored to pa-tient characteristics should be developed in order to improve the health behaviors of patients with CADs. Practically, clinical nurses should recognize the importance of providing patient education de-signed to change their lifestyle. In future research, whether subjects had received patient education or not should be considered
