Belmont will support pushing BAR files to the device. Belmont does not ship with any pre-configured RIM apps, so administrator has to:
•obtain the BAR files for apps
•put them in a particular location within Belmont
•make the app as allowed (or required, or banned) in configuration, and push configuration to devices
New with this release is the ability of the on-prem administrator to specify an app from Enterprise App World in his configuration. So the admin doesn’t have to have physical possession of the .bar file, just a pointer to it. The client can also be pre-loaded on the device. The imservice component can be installed or updated correspondingly, since it is packaged with the BAR file.
