Many people enjoy the comfort of their own home. One good thing about watching a movie at home is that you can stay in your pajamas. Of course, you can go to the theater in your pajamas, but you might get some odd looks from other people. Another plus of staying home is that you can fall asleep on your couch, and drool without grossing out the complete strangers who are seated around you. While watching a movie at home, you can pause it to go to the restroom, and you can rewind it if you misunderstood something about the movie. You can also adjust the volume so that you won’t misunderstand anything else. At home, you can eat whatever you want, and not spend your whole paycheck at the movie theater concessions counter. Plus, you can avoid a silent stare-down with the unknown individual sitting next to you, about who gets to use the cup holder and the armrest that is separating the two of you. One downside of watching a movie at home is the lack of quality popcorn. Sure, you can microwave a bag of popcorn, but it just isn’t the same. More likely than not, your television screen is much small than a movie screen, so you might not always get the full effect of the fast-moving action scenes.
