1) vary both the helium turbine inlet and steam
generator inlet temperatures, 2) determine whether the inclusion
of a precooler to reduce the compressor inlet temperature would be
beneficial to increase the power output of the gas turbine, 3) vary
the system parameters to see if the compressor discharge temperature
could be reduced to below 371 C to facilitate the use of
Alloy SA 533B for the uncooled reactor pressure vessel, 4) in the
cogeneration mode, vary the major plant parameters to determine
the impact on electrical power output and process steam production,
and 5) determine the impact of the major parameters on plant
capital cost, and the economic worth of the two revenue bearing
streams.
