change,mainlyintheformofincreasingrainfall,decreasingnumberofrainydaysinthe
last twodecadesandofextremelylaterainfallinrecentyear'srainyseason.Acomparison
of locals'perceptionsandclimaticobservationsshowsthatlocalpeoplehavecorrectly
perceivedrainfallchanges,whichhavelargelyinfluencedtheexperiencesandperceptions
regardingclimate-relatedhazards.Morethan70%ofhouseholdshaveperceiveddroughts
and floodsimpactsontheirlivelihoodsbuthavenotcompletelyunderstoodtheircauses.
