Sweetie: I woke up last night, I wake up several times at night; but, this one time you were on my mind and it troubled me. I hope you are doing okay. I think of you often and with worry.

I know in your last email, you were questioning the tourist situation in Chiangmai because of the military control and now the bombing in Bangkok. Plus the recent stock market bubble bursting in China hurt some investors most, those in the middle class betting their saving ( and Chinese do save a lot) on the market. Those are the people that use extra income for vacations and now a good deal of the middle class Chinese savings have been lost to the stock market plunges. Given the slow down globally of goods and service sales - China will undergo continued economic adjustments that might mean less middle class money. Be wise in your choices for investment once your father's place is sold. Don't be hasty. Hang low for awhile if you can find little work.

I see where that is to be further internet and other media suppression in Thailand, no constitution, with open elections questionable - those things will cause tourist adjustments that might continue.
