Previous phytochemical researches on this plant revealed that it was not only a known source of lycopodium alkaloids [2] and [3], but also as a source of serratene-type triterpenoids [4] and [5]. The structure of serratene-type triterpenoid includes four six-member rings A, B, D and E, unusual skeleton with a seven-membered ring C, a Csingle bondC bond between C(14) and C(15), and oxygenated methines at C(3) and C(21) [6].
