Dear Nidnoi,
Hi there! I have read your profile and I would really like to make friends with you and learn more about you and your way of life.
I live in Canberra, Australia. It's a small city with about 350,000 people. I'm seventy-five years old and retired. I haven't got a daughter.
Are you studying for your career? I've lived most of my life in Australia. I used to teach Greek and Latin. For five years I worked as an interpreter and translator in Italy.
My home now is in north Canberra. It's opposite a park and near the foot of a little mountain where kangaroos and wallabies dwell. We've been in a drought for several years, so these thirsty creatures sometimes hop into my garden after dark to nibble at the green grass.
You can also see possums running along the power lines, and just before dusk a kookaburra, which is a kind of kingfisher, sits on top of a light pole and searches the gardens for food.
Please do tell me a little about yourself and your daily life and the things you like. Do you like the city or the countryside best?
What sort of flowers do you like? What are your favourite foods? And are you a skylark or a night-owl? I sometimes stay up till about eleven in the evening and sleep in till late in the morning. What about you?
I'm about 180 cm tall, weigh about 70 kg, and have a fair complexion, auburn hair, and blue eyes.
Kind regards
Mike
