Then, Our results revealed that germination of conidia of P.expansum was inhibited by NaHCO3in vitro, and NaHCO3 at 0.6 % (w/v) significantly (P < 0.05) reduced the germination of conidia byup to 80% compared to the control after 10 h of incubation. 0.6% was considered to be the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs)and used in subsequent experiments (Table 1).
