VRP uses Supervisory control and data acquisition system (SCADA) which is a system for remote
monitoring and control that operates with coded signals over communication channels (using typically
one communication channel per remote station) as the following scope
1. Control and gather information through Global Positioning System (GPS): Transport Control
officer can track VRP’s vehicles and plan the suitable route to avoid traffic congestion and
accident. Upon this system, VRP can transport with safety and reliable time.
2. Check the distance and the speed of vehicle: It is limited at 60 km per hour as PTT’s requirement.
3. Display the volume of gas at each daughter station: this enables to estimate the suitable time to
transport gas to each daughter stations in order to avoid the shortage.
