Method
The modified PAQ-A questionnaire was administered
to all 6th-grade students at the pilot middle school during
the first week of school in their homerooms (n =
207). After the first 6-week implementation period,
only students who were participants in the 8th- and
9th-period PE class were surveyed during their final
PE class of the rotation (n = 91). Data were filtered to
utilize responses of students who completed both
a pre-implementation and post-implementation survey
(n = 86). The data from the surveys were analyzed with
use of SSPS 16 software. Paired t tests were performed
to analyze differences at baseline and 6 weeks after
the intervention.
