The Thailand National strategic plan for logistics
development identify 5 cores strategies, namely
business logistic improvement, new trade lanes,
intertrade logistics service, trade facilitation and
logistics capacity building [1]. The government
attempts to deploy this strategic plan and has
launched a number of policies in order to primarily
reduce the logistics cost. Despite of this great effort,
the policies deployed have not yet been put into
implementation level. This study presents a case of
rubber supply chain in Thailand. Exporters still lack
of information about alternative gateways. Apart
from this, the new growing areas may require a new
alternative. Therefore, the paper proposes a
framework for decision support system (DSS) for
Thailand rubber exports. Optimal alternative gateway
for each case of origin and destination will be
explored and analyzed by FAHP.
