So, how does this work and what makes it different to other networking site or e-mails and texting? Well, this is why, Twitter is a unique and exciting new service giving the user up to date information instantly as well as allowing you to find people, news and trends.
Once you have signed up with Twitter you can use it to post and receive messages. You send one message to your Twitter account and it will be sent it to all your friends instantly.
The message can be about anything and can consist of 140 characters per time. The topic of discussion can be of your choice, you may want to let your friends know about an event you are organising or let people know what you are doing. People use the site to share and learn about new and exciting things that are happening around the world. This site has become so popular that most celebrities have now joined in and will often make announcements through this service.
