Research Methodology
Research Disign
This research was one group pretest- post test design. The sample of 31 EFL
secondary school studentswas selected through cluster random sampling.
Instruments and Data analysis
Threeinstruments used in the experiment were: the first one wasspeaking
testused to measure speaking ability of the sample before and after implementing
lesson plans. The statistics used in data analysis was t-test dependent sample to
determine English speaking skills. The second instrument was four English
speaking lesson plans based on Skype used to implement in the classroom. The
last one wasthe rubics designed for English speaking confidence used to
assessEnglish speaking confidence.The statistic used in data analysis was
percentage.
The experimental processes were as follows:
1. English speaking test was contributed to measure speaking
ability of sample before implemented Skype with four lesson plans.

2. Self-confident evaluation form was used to evaluate ability of
confident speaking of sample while doing activities.
3. Skype with four lesson plans were used to teach in and
outside the classroom.
4. The same English speaking test was used to measure speaking
ability of the sample after learning by using Skype.
5. Analyzed the data and reported the results.
