I'm a Filipino. What I hate about my country is that the government is only focusing on Manila for the last 50 Years when it comes to infrastructures etc. . Yes Manila is the capital of the Philippines, but it is NOT the only place here. They should also develop other places like provinces. No wonder people move to Manila because they think they could find an easy way to earn money, resulting to congestion, and again resulting to difficulty looking for a job, for they have more people to compete with. If only provinces are as developed as Manila, then people will not need to move. giving them equal chance of getting hired. the more employed people, the more the productivity, and the whole country will benefit. I've been in some East Asian countries, and that's pretty much what I have observed, all places are as highly developed as the capital. God Bless the Philippines!
