Paul Walker Planned To Retire For His Daughter
“There’s this image of the movie superstar with the swagger and arrogance and being the big man, but Paul was none of that,” Ronn Shikari told Mail Online. Ronn and Paul met in Hawaii seven years ago through their mutual love of jiu-jitsu. Ronn owns a jiu jitsu training academy where Paul’s daughter Meadow used to train.

“He was a family man,” Ronn continued. “That’s why he wanted to retire from acting and talked to his family about it, as he’d achieved everything he wanted to achieve. The big reason he wanted to quit acting was so that he could spend more time with Meadow.”
“He loved being a father,” Vince Krause, another friend of Paul’s, also told Mail Online. “It was very clear that his daughter was the most important thing in the world to him.”
Because of his career, Paul didn’t have as much time as he would have liked to spend with Meadow in her early years. After finally making it big and securing his future with the Fast & Furious franchise, he was ready to make up for lost time. But as Ronn somberly puts it, “It’s a shame that it could never happen.”
Paul Walker Finally Had His Time With Meadow
A source close to the Walker family also told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that tragically, Paul was finally getting his time with 15-year-old Meadow, who had recently moved in with him.
“He was happier than you can imagine to have her living with him full-time,” the source said. “She was the love of his life, he was an amazing dad and he was so happy that she chose to live with him because he never felt like he got enough time with her.”
Paul really seemed to have big plans to rededicate himself to his daughter. It just feels so unfair that he wasn’t able to fulfill them.
