As you know, I have just rented this flat from you for a month. I have just discovered that the cooker does not work. I have no idea what the matter with it is, but it is annoying.
Considering the price I am paying for, this is somewhat surprising. As you know, I would not have rented a flat if I had not wanted to have private catering facilities. Without them, I might just as well be in a hotel. I did try to telephone you but was unable to get through.
Could you please call me and let me know when you will be sending someone to repair the cooker? Please make sure it is within the next couple of days; otherwise, I will expect some form of compensation.
I look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
John Thomas
