Maximum dye degradation (98.5%) was observed after 3 days in the medium containing 0.001% dye (10 mg/l), followed by 91.95,94.83, 80.15, and 76% decolorization in the media receiving 0.005,0.01, 0.015 and 0.02% of the dye,respectively (Fig. 5). Maximum laccase activity (450 IU/ml) was also noted in the culture supernatant from the medium containing 0.001% Cibanon blue GFJ-MD.
