We thought we might have been a little biased in thinking that our new project at 380 Lonsdale St was just what Melbourne needed, but it seems we’re not the only ones! The first building to receive a planning permit under the new government, it’s as if this mixed-use super tower – which includes a hotel, apartments and office space as well as a new laneway for retail and dining – was made for the city. The whole precinct planning approach and the jungle-like garden at the top of the podium, which sends luscious foliage cascading down the facade takes its cues from Singapore’s tropical lifestyle.
