I loved the idea of this book, but it never really took off for me. I didn't quite get interested in any of the characters and subsequently, did not bother finishing the last third of the book. So, perhaps, my review is incomplete.
There were a few tidbits of wisdom sprinkled about and I enjoyed them. I did however, find the book slow and without any real punch to keep me reading. I know Albom is not known for writing female characters and I did think he seemed to peg Sarah's character well. Victor was so bizarre to begin with I'm not sure I really cared what happened to him. Dor was endearing, yet I couldn't really get myself to believe in him. I think this book would be great for someone who is a bit more of a creative thinker than I am.
