Nodal sections with induced axillary shoots were transferred to a root induction medium (RIM) consisting of MS salts, indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) at 0–5.71 lM with and without indole-3-butyric acid (IBA) at 0–4.92 lM. Percentage of response, number of roots per shoot and root length were recorded 7 days after transfer to RIM
