I have very little / no knowledge about the Thai Employment Laws and I’m unsure for these cases and as her employer for this part-time assignment, are we obligated to:-
1. Withhold tax from her salary payment?
2. Arrange for SSF?
3. To advise our insurer in the Employer’s Liability Insurance cover that we do from time to time hire part-time staff so that these part-time employees will be covered on an unnamed basis?
4. Generally, is there any related rules / guidelines in that when a part-time employee worked for over x amount of hours in a week, then the employer needs to provide him / her with the standard staff benefits as that of a full-time employees?
Your early advice will be very much appreciated as we do not want to be running into any risks of not doing anything in the most appropriate manner.
