each jockey then had an individuallytailored
diet devised with the aim of reducing body fat but maintaining
lean mass over a 6 week period. From each jockey’s RMR
value (kcal.d − 1) a diet was devised in the format of 3 meals and
2 snacks per day and delivered twice per week in pre-packaged
meals to the jockey’s home over a period of 6 weeks
