2.3. Thermal reduction of graphene (T-GNS)
The GO (0.5 g) was placed in quartz boat and kept in a tubular
furnace at 500 C under argon (Ar) atmosphere for thermal
reduction. The schematic diagram shows the overall experimental
set-up in Fig. 1. The sample was reduced with 100 sccm (standard
cubic centimeters per minute) of argon for 20 min at temperature
500 C. After thermal reduction, the sample was cooled to room
temperature and a fine sponge like black coloured T-GNS sample
was obtained
