For those that have noticed certain maps to be missing when using the single player versus AI mode, but are present in the multiplayer custom games, I have a fix which does not require re-installation of the game client.
The culprit appears to be corrupt cache files, located in the "Program Data" folder of Windows operating systems.
Uninstalling or re-installing the game client does not remove or overwrite these files. You will need to purge them manually. As such, you will need to have your OS folder viewing options set to show hidden folders and files.
- Enter the "Program Data" folder
- Browse for the "Blizzard Entertainment" folder
- Enter the Blizzard folder and locate the "Battle.net" folder
- Delete the "Battle.net" folder
- Restart StarCraft 2
Once you have logged into Battle.net, attempt to start a SP versus AI game. If the map list does not load, or reads "No Content Found" back out from SP versus AI.
Wait about a minute or so, as it takes some time for the list to repopulate with new cache info from the master server.
Enter SP versus AI once again, and hopefully all your maps should be there as they once were.
Hopes this helps those that have had this rare and unusual issue.
Cheers
