within the expected range for crude rice bran oil. Spreads 2 and 4
had slightly higher amounts of α- and γ-tocopherols and α- and γ-
tocotrienols compared to samples 1 and 3, indicating that longer incubation
times helped to enrich the spreads with tocopherols. The
high amount of tocopherols and tocotrienols in the resulting samples
likely contributed to their antioxidant activity in soybean oil.
