Dear Khananat,
As you know, the college is due to report you to DIAC for low-attendance on 5/12/14.
This email is to remind you that you have the right to appeal against this decision, and to help you in making an appeal.
Your appeal should be in writing and cover the following points:
if your low-attendance was (mainly) due to illness, please include some detail about the illness(es);
if you did not obtain a medical certificate in every case, why you did not;
your current health condition – will you be able to keep good attendance in your future studies?
any other reason why Access should consider not reporting you, such as your good academic record (academic progress).
If your appeal is based on your opinion that the school has made some error in this process you should explain in detail. For example, if you believe the school:
has not correctly recorded your attendance or
did not adequately warn you about your low attendance
Please ask someone to help you in completing your appeal if you wish.
You must make your appeal before 5/12/14.
After that date, it will be too late to consider any appeal. Access recommends you make your appeal as soon as possible.
Remember, if you choose NOT to appeal, the school must report you to DIAC on the date advised.
