1.2 The transportation’s Behaviors (of the drivers)
Complain: C3 -The driver was driving faster than the speed limit
C4 - The gap/distance between the trucks (the follower should behind the leader at least
500 meters at any times.
C5 - The truck should be let the local vehicles to pass
Conclusion from the meeting:
a) To arrange the safety talk to the drivers at Nam-Cho check point before release the truck to
inform them the regulation for safety and give them the regulation sheet (“the
transportation permits to Khanom Power plant”.)
b) Consider to release the truck no more than 30 nos./day (05:00-07:00 15 nos, 09:00-11:00
7-8 nos, 13:00-15:00 7-8 nos)
c) Release the truck in 5 minute each trip eventually.
d) Inform the phone numbers to the communities for complaint or suggest in the signboard.
e) The transportation traffic control staff at the control points to check and warn the drivers.
f) Owner staffs will help The Onshore Consortium’s staffs to control at the risky points not
only inbound but also outbound.
g) The following truck will temporary parked at laydown area#8 and wait until the leading
truck pass the Tha-Moung Junction.
h) In case of the truck did not arrive the Construction site within the specified interval those
truck must be temporary parked at laydown area#8 and wait.
