It appears from the above discussion that the problem lay not so much with the competence of students as with the overall cultural orientation to the academic atmosphere. The students want the teacher to be an information provider and if you are not one, it is sometimes taken as if you don't know much, and that's a part of our culture. It all comes down from the family image because even at home there is someone who is really the head of the family and it is this concept that has also come down to the classroom and the students see the teacher as their guardian, one who would truly guard them and give them all their answers to their questions and queries (Chowdhury, 2010)
