This is a stupid question but, When

This is a stupid question but, When you buy the headlights brandnew usually they come with a plastic seal thats hard to see.. I didn't no my headlights had them until i saw this little crack but it was just the plastic, if i didn't see that crack i would of just baked my headlights with the plastic seal..

Did you take the seal off? maybe you cooked it on...
