Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your interest in VSCO 4.0 for iOS 8.
We are a company that strives to Always Move Forward, however, we do have to rely on the technologies available to us. The newest release of VSCO 4.0 will not be made available for older versions of iOS. In order to take advantage of the new features available in this version as well as purchase any new presets please update your iOS version to iOS8 or above.
Before any iOS update I would to back up your VSCO library using iTunes. Here's a link on how to do so: https://vsco.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/200323450-VSCO-Cam-How-to-retrieve-your-VSCO-Cam-photos-using-iTunes.
Once you have done that please feel free to update your VSCO.
