drying constant and lag factor from the experimental drying kinetic curves of cylindres and slices of potatoes
using mixed solar dryer. The results were explained that the comparison of experimental dimensionless moisture
contents with those calculated with variable (temperature dependent) and constant values of drying parameters
demonstrates that the predicted results from variable parameters can better simulate the experiments. The major part of
these studies relates the impact of the drying parameters and geometry of product on different mode of solar
drying. Theoretical results of the proposed studies are in good agreement with the experimental ones
