Kind greeting from Patong Resort Hotel. Thank you very much for having Mr. Shin Woo staying at our property. It was our great pleasure to have him as guest.
Downpours overnight in Phuket along with the Andaman provinces have caused overflow of water and flood all over the Island. The transportation system was shut down for a few hours, all tourists took the extra time to reach the airport otherwise they would have missed the flights. The drainage system could not handle the amount of overwhelming water, our hotel was also suffered from the overflow of water.
During this incident yesterday morning, everyone was working hard to solve the water problem. We were fully aware of the inconvenience to our guests. We asked Mr. Shin Woo to shift the room but he refused. We also treated him nicely by allowing him to keep the room untill 16.00 hrs without extra charge.
I am afraid that I disagree with you for paying him back for one night. Kindly reconsider the above matter according to our explanation.
We woulkd like to express our sincerest apology to Mr. Shin Woo for the inconvenience of his stay at Patong Resort Hotel. We look forward to serving him again in the near future.
