A transfer function ( Hˆ (h) ) exists between the torque ripple
and the signal sampled by the microphone. The torque ripple
at the output of the motor is first effected by the mechanical
system and results is the vibration of the duct. The sound from
the vibration of the duct is further effected by the acoustic
environment before it is sampled by the microphone.
For each of these first experiments, data was recorded for 10
steps of the algorithm. Each of these experiments was then
repeated and allowed to continue for 20 iterations. The results
of these experiments are described in section V.
