2.2. TGA-DSC
A TGA-DSC from Netzsch (STA 409 PC) was used which was
equipped with a Pt/Rh crucible (diameter = 6.8 mm, volume 85 μL)
with lid. The sample was heated from 20 to 800 °C with 5 K min−1 in
a streaming nitrogen atmosphere (purge: 50 ml/min; protective:
20 ml/min) to suppress oxidation. The gradient and measurement
were started at 20 °C temperature. An empty Pt/Rh crucible served as
reference. The total instrumental runtime was 2.7 h. Integration of the
DSC peaks was realized using ChemStation Software (Ver. A 09.01)
from Agilent Technologies. Attention was paid to analogous baseline
peak integration between calibration samples and environmental
samples.
