How does CardLinK handle future transactions? You must remember
that there is a fundamental difference between the term ‘future
transactions’ as it refers to the actual date a transaction was
consummated by the cardholder, and as it refers to the actual date
that CardLinK receives and posts the transaction in the cardholder’s
account. What we refer to as ‘future transactions’ in this section are
those transactions that were performed by the cardholder either
before, or after the transfer, but both not having been posted yet on
the cardholder’s account. If a card has been lost or stolen, then one
naturally assumes that transactions after the date of loss could be
classified as potentially fraudulent transactions.
