Members of South Korea's Special Warfare Command went topless for extreme winter training in Pyeongchang. More than 150 Chunma soldiers stripped off their shirts and shouted army slogans during their training exercise approximately 180 kms east of Seoul.
The training is aimed at pushing the soldiers' endurance to the limit, with the army pledging to be ready against any attacks from North Korea.
South Korean Lieutenant-Colonel Kim Dong-gwan said: "this our special army spirit, we will be the strongest soldiers in the world, able to accomplish missions through tough training as if in actual battle."
