In garlic extract (FRGE and HRGE) cultures, the cell
viability was not affected by treatment with up to 0.1% garlic extracts.
However, the cell viability was significantly decreased by
treatment with 1% garlic extracts (n = 4, p < 0.05, Fig. 1A). The
1 lg/mL LPS and 0.1% garlic extracts were used for the additional
experiments to study macrophage function.
