The average thickness of the prepared films (Table 2) was similar to the work of Pelissari et al. (2013), which used flour and starch isolated from banana of the variety “Terra”, obtaining 0.087 ± 0.003 and 0.086 ± 0.004, respectively, and similar to the work of Pelissari, Andrade-Mahecha, Sobral, and Menegalli (2017) with films based on banana starch reinforced with cellulose nanofibers isolated from banana peels (0.086 ± 0.002).
