In this paper we recall our past teaching experiences in several departmental
projects for introducing the high school students to nice mathematical applications.We worked to this aim also in a project, named Piano Lauree Scientiche
(PLS), for the Department of Mathematics and Applications (University of
Naples Federico II). For an interdisciplinary laboratory tool we give a short algorithm for the construction of a temperate musical scale. This procedure can
easily written in a programming language to naively explore the connections
between Mathematics and Music.
