6.15.1 Operation
Precured product stacks move on the conveyors to under the restacker.
When a stack has stopped in correct position, the transfer wagon and the
catchers move to above the stack.
The chain driven catcher descends onto the stack. The limit switch detects
the loosening of the chain, and the lowering movement stops. The
catchers work pneumatically so that the upper catcher parts grip the panel
edges and the lower ones the base mold edges.
When the catcher parts are closed, the catcher moves up with the product
and the base mold. The transfer wagon goes over the plate conveyor,
descends and leaves the base mold onto the plate conveyor. The
catcher with the product moves up and onto the transfer table. When the
transfer movement stops, the catcher descends and leaves the product
on the transfer table again.
The operator of the restacking station controls the product quality visually
according to the preset norms.
The restacker works automatically as long as there are restackable products
on the conveyor or the transfer tables (for Grade A or Grade B) are
full. The operator (of the restacker) must give an impulse both for the
transfer table for the transfer and for the turning device to start turning
